Elegant black and white manicure
Hello everyone!
Today I had to share this pretty mani I wore recently. It's wedding season, and girls usually like elegant nails when going to a reception. I thought this was very appropriate themed to share for this time of the year.
I personally love black and white nail art because it strikes even without sparkles and glitters. If they're easy to make, they have a plus.
For this particular manicure I coated my nails with 2 layers of white polish from Sally Hansen.
Using plain old tape, I divided my nails in half and painted half of them black. I went oposite directions on each nail, top black on one, then bottom black on the other and so on.
I used the same black polish to stamp a pattern from plate BPL-005 . I had a review on this plate earlier this year if you want it >here<. The pattern I used was an abstract one and I used the same black color polish. Since it wasnt stamping polish it's a little rough looking for my taste it didn't come out as crisp as I normally like it.
For my accent nail I used some irridescent white half pearls from the box reviewd in my last post. You can find the box of goodies >here<.. The pearls I used were from the container with number 11. They're really pretty, pretty big I think they're 3 or 4mm I honestly didn't measure them.
On each side of the pearl I placed a 1.5mm rhinestone for just a little bit of sparkle. I used the wheel with rhinestones that I use so often that you can find >here<
All the embelishments I set them in clear top coat and did not seal them. The pearls can be reused if you treat them carefully and don;t set them on dark colors so they dont get stained.
It's a very easy to do manicure. If you already know how to use the tape, it will take about 10-15 minutes, without the drying time. It's not "too much" but looks very classy.
I hope you like it and if you want to get any of the products I used from www.bornprettystore.com , you can use the code below for a 10% site wide discount with no minimum order and free shipping.

Purple and gold lace nail art
Hello everyone!
Wish everyone a great coming weekend. What's better than start the weekend than a glam manicure.
I received this pretty box of goodies. Took me some time to decide on what I want to use first from the box and I'll definately have to post more manis with everything in there.
The box is from bornprettystore.com . You can find it >here< for $7.73 normal price but right now it's discounted.
It has 12 compartiments all with different nail art decorations. The ammount varies depending on the size of the decorations. There are hoops, crystals, beads, marble looking decorations, studs. they're all very pretty.
The ones I decided to use today are the ones from compartiment 10, that contains 5-6 pieces of round multifaceted rhinestones. They're about 4mm diameter and super sparkly.
For today's manicure I opted for a mix of bling and lace, using a base of purple glitter a shimmery gold polish for my accent nails. The polishes I used are:
- Spoiled by WnW- Are mermaids real
- Kleancolor pastel purple
- BPS gold stamping polish
Even though The gold polish I used is actually for stamping, I loved the way it became opaque in just one coat so I used that instead of a glitter gold polish.
I coated my nails with one layer of Kleancolor pastel purple to give more opacity to the glitter. I then painted 1 layer of purple glitter by Spoiled. The polish is gorgeous with gold reflexes that match the gold accent nail so pretty.
I stamped all my nails but my accent nails, with a floral lace pattern from BP-02 that you can find >here< for $2.99.
On my accent nails I stampped another pattern from the same plate, in the center of the nail.
The big crystals from the box were placed on the middle of the lace pattern on the accent nails and I added 1.5mm rhinestones that you can find >here<. I set all of them in regular top coat.
Overall this manicure is super easy to make. It doesn't take long at all, especially if you already have some experience with stamping. It took me around 2 minutes to stamp all my nails, and few more minutes to set the rhinestones.
It's a very effective nail art in royal colors. I absolutely love it. The big rhinestones can be reused as long as you don't put any top coat over it. The big flat surface will be enough to make it stay.
I hope you like it and if you want the box of goodies or any other product I used from BPS you can use the code below for 10% discount and free shipping at check out.

Colorful confetti
Hello everyone!
It's been a while but I was unable to post for a little bit. I received yesterday a jar of pretty things from bornprettystore.com . I don't really know what they are but I will call them confetti cause thats what they remind me of.
It's a fairly new product that you can find >>here<< for $3.61 right now for the small jar. They have 2 jar sizes, the bigger one contains 10g of product which is a lot, because even the small one that I have is full to the top.
I attached a macro photo of the product from the jar to see how pretty they are!
The little sheets I think they're made out of plastic and they're tiny around 1mm each. They're not glitter, but they're shiny. They're thin so they don't give much of a 3D effect and they're super easy to set in regular top coat or cure in UV top coat.
For this design I used regular top coat to set them. I coated my nails with 2 thin layers of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in color "Black Heart".
I applied a thin layer of top coat and using a small sized dotting tool I placed each confetti at the base of the nail in a triangle shape. I used random colors and sealed with 1 layer of top coat.
On the accent nail I set them in a heart shape using random colors and in the middle I have 1 rhinestone from the previously reviewed mix of rhinestones that you can find >here<
After the polish completely dried, I applied one thin coat of matte oil only over the black polish. Since the black I used was so shiny it was taking the effect from the pretty confetti so I had to make it matte to put the accent on them. I used the Super matte surface oil from BPS which is one of my favorite matte top coats and you can find it >here<
I absolutely love the way this nail art came out. It was overall easy to do, even with my non dominant hand, but the placing of the confetti takes a little bit.
I hope you like it. If you want to get any of the products mentioned above you can use the code below for a 10% discount and free shipping.

Polish bottle nail art
Hello everyone!
Hope you all are having a great spring with no allergies!
I am addicted to glitter and bling this spring, because I love seeing the effect in the sun. I always get compliments on my nails lately.
This design features many polish bottles, which is my one true addiction. It comes in the form of a full pattern on a plate from www.bornprettystore.com, BP29 that you can get for $2.99.
It features everything polish, from bottles to drips. It's the perfect plate for polish hoarders like me.
The polishes I used for this design are:
- Sally Hansen triple Shine- "Clam Up"
- WNW Wild Shine- "Sparkle"
For my accent nails I used:
- Gold metal studs 3mm from BPS
- 1.5mm clear rhinestones from BPS
I had them set in just normal top coat. The metal studs don't really fall off my nails, no matter what I set them on. They are a little caved in underneath, which creats a little suction when you apply them and they stay still through your daily activities. I love that about them.
This was a super easy to do nail design. All that really takes time is the polish drying. The stamping took about 3 minutes because the plate is so well made I works perfect all 4 times I stamped.
I hope you like it and if you want to get any of the products that I used, you can use the code below at check out for a 10% discount and free shipping!

Bling nail art!
Hello everyone!
I was a lot into bling these past few days, I don't even know how many times I changed the design on all my fingers but those 2 accent nails this week.
I had a brand new container with mixed rhinestones from bornprettystore.com that I was waitting for, to get into that super bling mood to show you.
I decided to post this design from those many I had. It was just my favorite.
The rhinestones I used were these 1.5 mixed rhinestones .
They come in a small round container. I have no idea how many are in there to be honest. I can aproximate around 300, maybe more cause the container is full to the top.
Why I was pleasantly surprised with these particular rhinestones, is because they feel like glass, not like plastic.
Most rhinestones are and feel like plastic, and have a silver coating on the bottom. I'm sure some of you had this happen to you, when the rhinestone falls off and leaves that silver coating on your nail by itself and it's a pain to take off? Well these pretty things are one piece. I've had few fall off wearing them casually but no annoying rezidue.
Is it because they feel so much like glass what makes them sparkle so much better than other rhinestones. I had some trouble taking photos of them in natural sunlight. They are absolutely adorable.
For this particular design I used:
- Born pretty holo polish nr2
- Sally Hansen insta dry black
- Avon dazzlers- disco ball
- UV top coat
I used the pink holo polish from BPS on all my nails but the accent nails, which I coated with a black polish . I then applied 2 coats of Avon's disco ball on the pink nails. With the same black polish I made a reversed french on them.
For my accent nails I used 1 big rhinestone from this wheel and placed the small 1.5 colorful rhinestones around it randomly. I set them on UV top coat so I can move them around, and cured for 1 minute.
It's a pretty easy nail art especially good for sunny days when it has the strongest event, or for a prom. I personally love the way it came out and I wore it for quite a while, with my rhinestones stayiong on the whole time.
